Dear, Praying and Supporting Friends,
Greetings form our family to you, we pray that this letter finds you in the center of Gods will and his blessings are upon you.
Currently we are on deputation and we are continually amazed at God's goodness. Because of His goodness we are able to give you this update regarding the status of the second orphanage.
At the end of March we were at a meeting in Charlotte NC. During that meeting at Harbor Baptist Church we were blessed with some news, Brother Gardiner Gentry received this news that was passed along to us regarding the prospective orphanage in Malawi. It appears that some businessmen in Asheville, NC are going to buy the land, build the second orphanage, staff and support it. They are also going to build a church for the orphanage and plan on staying in the church until the orphanage is built. WOW, what a huge need that God has met.
The second orphanage is something we have been praying for since we realized that one orphanage only scratched the surface in meeting the needs of the orphanage in Malawi. There are still many more needs for the orphans but it is abundantly clear that God wants us in Malawi.
Once again here are some things that are needed for the work in Malawi.
1. Specifically needed are a 3 ton truck in which to transport people, farm equipment, and supplies to build churches. This would also be used to transport the "Jesus" film and all the equipment needed to show this to the Malawians.
2. We still need sponsors for the orphans. $50 will care for the food, clothing and medical needs for a child, perhaps more than one person can sponsor an orphan. Together we can make a difference.
3. Supplies for the new Dining Hall and the Medical Clinic.
4. People who would come to Africa and help; teachers, builders, plumbers, painters, musicians, any person who has a talent it can be used to help bring the Gospel to the Malawians.
The time is getting close for our trip to Malawi and we are eagerly awaiting the time to board the plane and go.
Please pray for our family as we continue on the path to Malawi. Please pray for the needs of the Malawians especially the children in the orphanage and Thandie and the women who care for them.
If you have any question please do not hesitate to contract us. Your prayers are so greatly needed and appreciated. We thank you for all you have done for us and the support you give. May God greatly bless you and your ministry.
In His Service,
James Jorgenson
